Joanna has over 12 years experience assisting people to improve the quality of their lives by addressing issues of the past that is impacting their lives and relationships.
Joanna trained as a social worker and worked in addictions of rover 7 years she later worked in Social Work Education as a Practice teacher for most of her career. She has worked with over 7 universities and dozens of placement providers across the North of England.
Following a need to serve in a deeper way Joanna completed counselling training and has worked in organisations in Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford West Yorkshire. She currently runs a private practice, offering face to face, video and telephone counselling.
Through Wounds to Scars she develops courses and eBooks as a means of giving an opportunity to a wider audience to receive the freedom and healing experienced by her one to one clients.
